ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Position Purpose:
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for client acquisition, optimizing revenue, and prospect education in barter. Individuals in this position pursue market opportunities, and enhances the awareness of Tradebank’s brand with local businesses, specific industry segments and community groups.


We are looking for a dynamic individual who will:

  • Be highly self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Initiate the sales process and develop market opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, cold- calling, qualification, proposing solutions, developing proposals, forecasting and closing sales.
  • Meet or exceed established annual sales quotas.
  • Recommend solutions and services by evaluating and identifying needs to be filled.
  • Develop a professional understanding of the Tradebank Inc. network and services offered.
  • Demonstrate benefits of Tradebank Inc. through effective presentations.
  • Maintain strong business and community networks.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and client acquisition skills.
  • Degree or Diploma in Business / Sales / Marketing an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to execute results against strategy and meet critical deadlines
  • At least 2 years’ experience in customer service or sales
  • Demonstrated outstanding communication and presentation skills both oral and written
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM
  • Barter and business operational knowledge is an asset.   

TRADEBROKER

Position Purpose:
The TRADEbroker is responsible for managing an existing client portfolio while executing a plan to work with Account Executives develop and grow the existing client base. The eligible candidate must be capable of achieving daily, weekly, monthly and yearly projected targets.

Essential Functions: 

  • Effectively manage the client portfolio through sales and customer service techniques
  • Meets or exceeds established annual sales quota
  • Initiates sales process and develops market opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, qualification, proposing solutions, developing proposals, forecasting and closing sales
  • Recommends solutions and services by evaluating and identifying needs to be filled
  • Develop a professional understanding of the Tradebank Inc. network and services offered
  • Demonstrate benefits of Tradebank Inc. through effective presentations
  • Develop relationships with decision makers within designated client portfolio 
  • Additional tasks, responsibilities, and special projects assigned from time to time
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills both oral and written
  • Results-oriented attitude with the ability to meet deadlines and think outside the box
  • Ability to view situations from a business owner perspective

Qualifications: 

  • Degree or Diploma in Business / Sales / Marketing an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to execute results against strategy and meet critical deadlines
  • At least 5 years experience in customer service or sales
  • Proven success selling high value products or solutions 
  • Experience in the barter environment would be an asset
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM
